L’objectif de l’analyse de la pauvreté et de l’impact social est de discerner et d’évaluer les principaux effets de la privatisation sur le bien-être des ménages ; de recommander des mesures permettant de remédier aux retombées négatives, tout en maximisant les avantages de la réforme ; et de proposer des solutions de rechange à cette dernière. Le présent rapport identifie donc globalement des mesures d’accompagnement pour la réforme, en mettant en évidence les principales contraintes qui entravent actuellement l’efficacité des systèmes de production et de commercialisation du coton.
