The Andhra Pradesh District Poverty Initiatives Project (APDPIP) assists the poorest of the poor in 180 mandals in the Indian districts of Adilabad, Mahbubnagar, Anantapur, Chittoor, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram. The project focuses on the education of female child laborers as well as the establishment of self-help groups, networks, and federations to improve access to government services as well as markets. APDPIP is a contribution to the Andhra Pradesh Government's Rural Poverty Elimination Program under the project title Velugu and implemented by the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP).
